  •   Monthly Medal (July’08) / Golfer of the Year Points
  •   Entry Fee: €11.00 + 2 club (€1)
  •    If not available for final please indicate this fact on the scorecard
  •    Can only qualify on one day. (If anyone plays both days the Saturday card will be used

  •    Top 60 scores (and Ties) to Qualify for final round (16th August)
  •   Qualifying scores to carry to Final Day.
  •   Qualifying Round Prize: Monthly Medal only


Final Day: Saturday 23rd  August. (Entry Fee: free & no 2 club)

  •    18 hole strokes competition
  •    Handicaps from qualifying day apply.
  •    7.30am: check in
  •    8.00am: Breakfast.
  •    8.30am: Latest check in (If not having breakfast).
  •    9.00am: Depart to designated Tee Box.
  •    9.30am: Shotgun Start.
  •    Leading 12 players will start on hole 1 (no starters on 17 & 18)

All players must enter competition, enter scores into computer and return the signed card to
the competition co-ordinator on the day on completion of round

Prize Presentation: in September, date to be confirmed

  •    7.30pm: Buffet – All members and their partners are  welcome
  •    9.00pm: Prize Presentation.
  •   10.15pm till late: Music & Craic

Captain's Prize Competition

Arising from the postponment of the Captain's Prize competition to the 9th & 10th August
(Qualifier) and 16th August (Final), the original timesheet was withdrawn and a new one posted
on the noticeboard. This new timesheet was posted in error and has now been withdrawn.

In accordance with normal practice, new timesheets will be posted two weeks before the
qualifying competition, i.e., the timesheet for Saturday 9th August will be posted on the
noticeboard at 8am, Saturday, 26th July, and likewise the timesheet for Sunday 10th August
will be posted on Sunday, 27th July.

Also note that there will be a draw for tee times within half-hour time slots, so please check the
completed timesheet (on the noticeboard or on the Club's website) during the week preceeding
the Qualifier to confirm your exact tee time.
Captain's Prize Competition - Important Notice

Due to inclement weather the course is closed today, Sunday 10th August. The Captain's Prize
Qualifier played yesterday has also been cancelled.

The Qualifier will be played on Saturday, 16th and Sunday 17th August, with the current timesheet
draw applying. The Captain's Final Day will now be played on Saturday, 23rd August.
